Welcome to the world of Financial Reporting Systems!  I am Professor Piman.  We will be taking the journey to learn all the important accounting and financial concepts to help prepare you for a successful career (in any field).

For many students, this course is going to be a challenging start of the program.  In order to be successful, you will want to spend a significant amount of time watching the instructional videos and working on activities in the Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for our class.  Whenever you have questions about the materials, please feel free to ask me questions.  Make sure to use the Forum in the LMS so that I can answer promptly.

Finally, we will be learning the concepts from real-life examples in the group projects.  More importantly, you will be applying skills (e.g., Fundamentals of Accounting) and tools (e.g., PESTEL Model) that you mastered from the Skills and Values Module so make sure to review those materials carefully.  These skills are going to be very beneficial for your careers in the long-run too.
